Administration

The Kiowa Fire District is overseen by an elected 5 member Board of Directors.  These directors are residents or property owners in the district and are elected to alternating 4 year terms every other May.  All registered voters who are residents or who own real property in the District are eligible to vote in District elections.

The District Board appoints a Fire Chief to act as their fire service expert and to run the operations of the District.  The Fire Chief oversees all Fire, EMS and Rescue operations as well as related administrative functions.  He also manages the District’s Fire Prevention and Code Enforcement Divisions.  Additionally the Fire Chief is supported by a  Deputy Chief.
